Dan Taylor

Dan Taylor, a 25-year veteran of the financial services sector, is president of the Wealth Capital Group, a Charlotte-based firm offering financial advisory services to highly affluent clients. The Wealth Capital Group works to develop unique products and services specifically for its client base. The company is currently in the top one percent of all financial consulting firms in the U.S.

Dan is also the founder of two complete capability programs that offer financial advisors ways to escape the regulation, commoditization, and complexity associated with today’s financial service, legal, and accounting professions. Since surrendering his licenses in 1999, Dan has developed a separate stream of sustainable income through The Advisor Freedom Programs*, The Private Capital Partners*, and The Big Idea Company*. These have not only enabled him to exceed his previous income, they have greater growth trajectories with less complexity.

Dan has written four books, Building Wealth*, The Divorce Conversation*, The Parent Care Solution*, and The Parent Care Conversations* and has published over 60 articles in various business journals. Dan is also the creator of The Equitable Distribution Solution* and The Divorce Mediation Program*. He speaks nationally to a number of diverse groups on topics of personal wealth management and divorce mediation processes. Dan has a bachelor of science degree in communications and English, and a law degree from West Virginia School of Law.

A participant in the Strategic Coach® Program since 1994, Dan is currently in the Strategic Coach® Masters program and also attends quarterly sessions of Coach2®, an advanced program focused on the unique packaging of the entrepreneurial business. Dan coaches workshops in Toronto, Chicago, and Atlanta.
